SP Richards is a leading wholesale distributor of office supplies, furniture, and business products. As a source in Flxpoint, it provides reliable inventory data, automated updates, and integration options to streamline product management and order fulfillment for ecommerce businesses.  

 

How To Connect

  • Navigate to the Connections tab.
  • Click on Fulfillment Sources.
  • Click on +Add Source.
  • Name it and select the source type.
  • Click FLX Supplier Directory and then click Continue.
  • Add the new source from the Supplier Directory, following the on-screen instructions to enter credentials.
  • Click Save Connection.

The Get Inventory integration for SP Richards automates inventory updates by retrieving product details, pricing, and warehouse-specific quantities from FTP feeds.

Connect Your Integration

Establish FTP Connection

  • For Primary Inventory, connect to Etilize FTP to download rich product data.
  • For Secondary Inventory, connect to SP Richards FTP to track warehouse-specific quantities.
  • Connection Name

  • User ID

Test Connection:

  • Use the Test Connection button to validate FTP access.

Save and Configure Settings:

  • Proceed to map templates and define rules for pricing and quantity updates.

Primary Inventory:

  • Supports custom fields, images, weights, and categories for rich product descriptions.
  • Retrieves full product feeds for complete updates.

Secondary Inventory:

  • Focuses on pricing and quantities by warehouse.
  • Uses delta feeds to update only changed data, improving efficiency.
  • Includes dealer pricing and MSRP mapped to specific columns.

Order Operations

It submits orders to vendors for fulfillment and subsequently imports the shipment details, ensuring an integration between order processing and shipment tracking.        
 

Send Orders

Yes, Send Orders is supported!

This integration automates order submissions via FTP in XML format.

Configuration Recommendations:

  • Use the Internal Flx Order ID as the Fulfillment Request (FR) Strategy (Adam’s recommendation).
  • Update mapping to send the Order ID instead of the Reference Number for shorter, cleaner order IDs (especially for Amazon).
 
 

Get Shipments

Yes, Get Shipments is supported!

This integration fetches shipment updates in XML format via FTP.

Key Features:

  • Tracks carrier methods, SKUs, and partial shipments.
  • Allows custom configuration to store shipment details like tracking numbers.

Limitations:

  • Invoice information is not supported in this process.
