Sync & Link Listings - Supported

Easily keep your GunBroker listings in sync with Flxpoint, ensuring your inventory data is always current.

Sync Example
Link Listings

Use the “Link Listings” modal to connect your Flxpoint listings to GunBroker. You can choose from SKU, UPC, or GTIN to set the linking priority:

- SKU: Your unique Flxpoint ID. Fastest and most reliable.
- UPC: A 12-digit barcode for retail products. Great for consistency.
- GTIN: A global ID (like UPC or EAN). More flexible but slower.

In the modal, select the GunBroker Sandbox channel, then set the linking fields in order of priority (e.g., try Listing SKU first, then GTIN). The default is SKU, but you can switch to UPC or GTIN.

When selecting any field other than SKU for GunBroker Listings, it will take considerably more time to perform this operation.

Import Listings - Supported

Set Your Master SKU

Set your Master SKU to SKU.

Set New Listings to Paused

When listings are imported, they can be set to Paused, meaning no pricing or quantity information will be synced to GunBroker from FLX. This allows for time to link to your inventory and validate pricing and quantity information before you enable syncing back to GunBroker.

Advanced Settings
  • Create Only: GunBroker listings will be imported and linked to existing FLX listings based on SKU. If there is not a SKU match to an existing FLX listing, a new listing will be created.
  • Create & Overwrite Existing: GunBroker listings will be imported and linked to existing FLX listings based on SKU. For all SKU matches, the listing data in FLX will be overwritten by the imported GunBroker listing data. If there is not a SKU match to an existing FLX listing, a new listing will be created.

If Create & Overwrite Existing is selected, you will need to choose from the option above it if you would like to update product data.

If Set New Listing to Paused

Pausing Listings will need to be unpaused so they can go through the workflow.

Unpause the listings by going to ProductsSelect ListingsActionsChange Listing StatusUnpause Listings.

 AI Category Mapping

Flxpoint offers a direct integration with GunBroker, allowing you to list and update firearm-related products automatically. A unique feature for GunBroker is the AI Category Mapping tool, which automates category assignments for your products, eliminating manual file uploads or time-consuming category matching. While this tool assigns categories automatically, it does not populate specific product details such as Manufacturer, Model, or Caliber.

Enabling GunBroker Integration

  1. Navigate to Connections in the left-hand panel.
  2. Select the Sales Channel you wish to configure (For AI Category, select Gun Broker).
  3. Go to the Settings tab.
  4. Scroll to the Categories Mapping section.

Here, you can configure both your listing preferences and category mapping preferences.

Image 1

Important Note: When using AI Category Mapping with GunBroker, ensure that your category mapping is set to Cat 1. The AI tool is configured to use Cat 1 for mapping, and configuring any other category (e.g., Cat 2 or Cat 3) may lead to publishing errors.

AI Category Mapping: Key Details

  • Exclusive to GunBroker: You will not see the AI option in other channels.
  • Overrides Manual Sets: Once enabled, any manually uploaded mapping sets are superseded by the AI tool.
  • Switching Back: If you revert to manual mapping, your previous files remain intact and will resume mapping upon saving.
  • What AI Category Mapping Does: The AI Category Mapping tool automates the assignment of categories for your GunBroker listings, saving you from manual file uploads. However, it does not auto-populate specific firearm details (e.g., Manufacturer, Model, Caliber, Barrel Length, Total Capacity). Those fields must be managed separately

AI vs. Manual Mapping:
If you’re already using standard/manual mapping sets effectively, keep doing so. If you’re new to GunBroker or want a clean slate, simply enable AI Category Mapping for a more automated approach.

Benefits of AI Category Mapping

  • Time Savings: No need to compile manual mapping files.
  • Automatic Updates: Whenever new categories or products appear, the AI system handles updates automatically.
  • Easy Reset: If you ever want to revert to manual mapping sets, you can switch back at any time.
