Understanding Category Manager
This section explains why the Category Manager is useful and how it works, like an article on its purpose.
The Category Manager helps you keep your product catalog organized across multiple suppliers and sales channels. Imagine running an online store with products from different vendors—each might use different category names for similar items, like "Bags" versus "Purses." The Category Manager lets you standardize these into a single structure, making your store easier to navigate for customers. It also saves time by letting you apply changes (like renaming a category) to all your sales channels at once. Originally called the Category Viewer, it was renamed to reflect its ability to not just view but actively manage categories.
