How to Modify Quantity on a Single Sales Channel

Configuring Quantity Modifiers for a Sales Channel

Quantity modifiers help ensure your storefront accurately reflects real-time inventory levels while protecting you from overselling. By applying these settings, you can automatically mark products as out of stock below a certain threshold, and optionally hide unavailable products from customers—keeping your store clean and reliable.

 

📝 Steps to Configure Quantity Modifiers

  • Open the channel’s Modifiers
    In the left-hand menu, go to Connections > Sales Channels, select your channel, then click the Modifiers tab.
  • Enable Quantity Modifiers
    Toggle on the Quantity section to unlock the available options.
  • Configure your settings
    • Minimum Quantity Filter
      Set a minimum threshold to avoid overselling. Listings below this quantity will be marked “out of stock” until inventory is replenished.
    • Hide Out-of-Stock Products
      Enable this option to automatically hide or remove listings with zero inventory (depending on what your channel supports).

Once you've made your changes, don’t forget to Save and Sync changes to existing listings so the updates apply to your current products.

🛠 Additional Tips and Considerations

Platform limitations: Some sales channels may not support hiding out-of-stock products. Be sure to check your channel’s capabilities before enabling this option.

Channel-specific settings: Quantity modifiers apply only to the specific sales channel where they're configured, they do not affect your global product inventory.

Save and Sync required: Modifier changes must be saved and synced to update your live listings. Otherwise, your settings won’t take effect.

Manual re-sync: If you choose "Not Now" on the sync prompt, you can return to the channel later and either re-save a setting or trigger the sync manually to apply your changes.
