When a customer places an order on any connected sales channel, Flxpoint automatically imports it into the Orders section. From there, you’ll manage everything from an initial review to the final shipment.
Scheduling and Retrieving Orders
Configure or schedule a process that automatically pulls new orders from your sales channels. You can also trigger a manual sync if you need updates right away. You can go to Connections → Sales Channel → Select your channel and then click on the 3 vertical dots over the right to Schedule Get Orders.
Viewing the Order
In Orders > View Order, check the essentials: items, shipping method, and any customer details. This helps confirm that every order is ready for the next step.
Generating Fulfillment Requests (FR)
Open the order and select Add Fulfillment Request. Once you generate an FR, it immediately goes into Processing status. Confirm that shipping methods are correct to avoid routing errors.
Validating Shipping Methods and Mappings
Make sure your source shipping methods align with the channel’s shipping mappings. Doing so helps eliminate potential shipping errors.
Sending Orders to Your Source
Schedule or manually run the Sync Orders process to transfer those FRs to your suppliers. After sending, wait for confirmation or acknowledgment to verify receipt.
Monitoring Shipments
As suppliers fulfill orders, shipping details (tracking, carrier, costs) are automatically updated in Flxpoint. You can review or edit shipments manually if needed. The Timeline captures every action as a useful reference.
Key Tips
- Keep shipping mappings up to date.
- Watch for FR statuses (Processing, Acknowledged, Cancelled, etc.).
