Chattanooga as a Source

Chattanooga Shooting Supply as a source in Flxpoint typically refers to a fulfillment or inventory source integration with a distributor or supplier based in Chattanooga. This integration allows users to sync inventory, process orders, and manage product data from the Chattanooga source directly within the Flxpoint platform. It streamlines the ecommerce operations by automating the flow of data between the supplier and the user's online store, ensuring accurate inventory levels, efficient order processing, and up-to-date product information.

How to connect

Product Operations

The primary operation handles the bulk of your inventory management needs, while the secondary operation allows for more detailed control, such as focusing on specific products or updates

Get Inventory and Pricing & Quantity

Supported: Chattanooga Shooting Supply - Get Inventory [Standard]

This integration allows you to retrieve product data (SKUs, descriptions, categories, prices, etc.) from Chattanooga. In Standard Flxpoint, this process is simply called “Get Inventory.”

- Authentication: Provide your Token and SID in the “Authentication Details.” These credentials let Flxpoint access your Chattanooga feed.
- Partial or Delta Feeds: Chattanooga may return only recently updated items. If so, do not enable “Archive Missing Products,” or you risk removing items not included in partial updates.
- Scheduling: You can schedule this job to run daily or multiple times per day. Frequent runs help keep your inventory levels current.
- Data Fields: Common fields include SKU, Quantity, Retail Price, MAP, UPC, and images.

Once fetched, Flxpoint will create or update your inventory records based on the mapping you configure.
Mapping Template Overview

Below is an example of how fields from Chattanooga can map into Flxpoint. You’ll see references to Inventory Parent (e.g., brand, description, images) and Inventory Variant (e.g., SKU, quantity, cost, etc.).

- SKU → Parent SKU / Master SKU
Ensures each item is uniquely identified in Flxpoint.

- Quantity → Quantity
Reflects real-time stock from Chattanooga’s feed.

- Retail Price / Custom Price → Cost
Choose which price field you map to your internal cost.

- Retail MAP Price → MAP
Track minimum advertised price policies if needed.

- UPC → UPC
Preserves universal product codes for marketplace listings.

- Manufacturer → Brand
Aligns Chattanooga’s manufacturer data with your brand field.

- Web Item Description → Description / Title
Helps standardize how items appear in your catalog.

- Image Location → Product Image(s)
Map one or more image URLs from Chattanooga to your product images.

Required fields (like SKU) will remain locked “On,” while optional fields can be enabled/disabled as desired.
Pricing & Quantity (Optional in Standard)

If your plan has a separate Get Pricing & Quantity job, you can pull cost and quantity updates more frequently. The mapping interface is similar, but typically only includes fields for SKU, Quantity, Cost, and optional MAP or MSRP.

If you do not see a separate “Pricing & Quantity” job in your Flxpoint, all data updates will occur via the main “Get Inventory.”
Troubleshooting Tips

If you encounter missing data or errors with your Chattanooga feed:

- Check Credentials: Ensure your Token and SID are correct in “Authentication Details.”
- Field Mappings: Verify essential fields like SKU, Quantity, and Cost are mapped properly.
- Logs & Scheduling: Check your job logs for errors and confirm your job schedule doesn’t conflict with other imports.
