Product Operations
The primary operation here handles TDSynnex inventory management (including pricing & quantity). You can automatically sync available stock and pricing from TDSynnex for both US and Canada.
Get Inventory and Pricing & Quantity
Yes, Get Inventory is supported for TDSynnex US/CA!
This operation pulls product data (including quantity and pricing) directly from TDSynnex, ensuring that your catalog remains up-to-date. After you create a connection, you can choose US or CA. Once selected, you’ll see the relevant integration fields.
- TDSynnex does not provide images in its feed; hence, Images are not supported.
- Multiple warehouses are supported. We sum up quantities from all selected warehouses in the integration settings.
Pricing & Quantity
You can also set up a separate pricing & quantity update, if desired. Provide your TDSynnex API credentials (username, password, customer number) so Flxpoint can pull cost data. If you prefer, you can share the same connection used for sending orders, though some users keep separate credentials.
Once a TDSynnex job runs, it updates your product SKUs with the latest cost and quantity for each warehouse you’ve selected (e.g., California, Southhaven, etc.).
Order Operations
Sending orders to TDSynnex and retrieving shipment details are also supported. Below is how you can set it up.
Send Orders
Yes, the Send Orders operation is supported for TDSynnex!
Once your TDSynnex connection is configured (US or CA), you can automate order submissions to TDSynnex. A separate API connection is typically used to send these orders.
Connection Requirements:
- Provide your TDSynnex username, password, and customer number to authenticate the connection.
- Optionally, reuse the same connection used for inventory. Most prefer separate connections to keep logs organized.
Fulfillment Request Number Compliance: TDSynnex typically allows your internal order number as the reference. Be sure to keep it within any length requirements you’ve agreed upon with TDSynnex.
If TDSynnex returns a confirmation (like a PO#), Flxpoint will store it in the order’s status or the activity log, marking the order as acknowledged.
Troubleshooting:
- If you see “null response” or “authentication error,” confirm your TDSynnex credentials and test again.
- For any rate-limit errors, adjust your job schedule to reduce frequent calls (e.g., every 2 hours instead of every 15 minutes).
- If you see “null response” or “authentication error,” confirm your TDSynnex credentials and test again.
- Watch for rate-limit errors if requests are too frequent.
- IP Whitelisting: TDSynnex often requires whitelisting Flxpoint’s IP addresses for your specific account. Contact TDSynnex to confirm your IP addresses have been added.
- Shipping Fields in Mapping: The default Send FR template doesn’t include all shipping fields. Make sure you manually add them if your shipments need those details.
Get Shipments
Yes, the Get Shipments operation is supported!
TDSynnex will provide shipment details (e.g. tracking number, carrier, shipped quantity, etc.) once an order is acknowledged and shipped. Flxpoint will automatically import these updates to keep your order statuses current.
Connection Requirements: Use the same or a separate TDSynnex connection. Just ensure you have valid credentials for retrieving shipment data.
- Partial shipments are supported, so TDSynnex may send multiple tracking numbers per order.
- If you need additional custom fields (e.g. SerialNo), you can map them into Flxpoint’s Custom Fields on each shipment.
