Advanced On Hold Rules

Flxpoint lets you automatically place incoming orders On Hold for review based on conditions you define. You can combine multiple conditions in a single rule (using “When” and “Is”), add optional “And” conditions, and apply a tag when the rule fires.

🔍 What Are Advanced “On Hold” Rules?

Advanced “On Hold” rules let you hold an order automatically at import time when specific criteria are met. Examples include high total weight, shipments to specific states, potential fraud patterns, or PO Box addresses.

  • Up to 5 total rules per account
  • Each rule supports up to 5 “And” conditions
  • Optional: Apply a tag to orders when the rule triggers
  • You can edit or delete rules; reordering isn’t supported

  • Name mismatch: When → Shipping Address · Full Name → Does not equal field → Billing Address · Full Name

  2. Set:
    1. When → Shipping Address → State → Is → Equal To → Alaska
    2. Click Add to append an “And” condition.
    3. When → Order → Total Weight → Is → Greater than → 50
  3. Enable Tag order when rule is applied and add a tag like Review – AK overweight.
