Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Migration from Inventory Source
Q: Will I lose my IS product customizations, catalog rules, or listings when moving to Flxpoint?

A: No, you won’t lose your product customizations, catalog rules, or listings. Flxpoint’s Import Products or Import Listings job (depending on your sales channel, e.g., BigCommerce) allows you to bring over your existing product data, SKUs, and customizations from Inventory Source. This ensures you don’t start from scratch. To get started, go to Products > Import Products and follow the guided steps. For best results, we recommend scheduling a kickoff call with our support team by emailing support@flxpoint.com to ensure a smooth migration. Note: Some sales channels may have specific requirements, so always verify compatibility first.

Q: Can I import my pricing rules from Inventory Source into Flxpoint?

A: Currently, Flxpoint does not support direct import of pricing rules from Inventory Source due to differences in how rules are structured per supplier. However, you can recreate your pricing rules in Flxpoint under Products > Pricing Rules. Our support team can guide you through this process during a kickoff call. We’re exploring ways to streamline this in the future based on user feedback, so stay tuned for updates!
