Overview

Customize how each fulfillment source behaves by adjusting the fulfillment source's settings to suit your business needs. 

Allow Backorders

Enabling backorders will allow FLX  to create an order fulfillment request for a product even if the product's quantity is marked as "0" or "Out of Stock" on your sales channel.

FLX Pro Tip:

• We recommend allowing backorders only for internal warehouses where you control the product quantity.
• We do not recommend enabling backorders for dropship sources.

Overrides

Enabling an override setting will allow you to exempt or override the fulfillment source from global settings. This provides further customization opportunities.

You must first enable the Override Global Settings For This Source toggle before enabling the desired override setting.

Auto Process Fulfillment Requests

Turning on this override will allow Flxpoint to automatically process any fulfillment requests created and routed to this source. This includes manually created fulfillment requests as well as auto-generated fulfillment request.

FLX Pro Tip:

• Let's say you prefer having oversight on order accuracy before processing most orders. You want to review all dropship supplier orders, but also want to automatically process your own internal warehouse. To accomplish this, enable this override only on your internal warehouse. 

Advanced Settings

• Remove Inventory: This setting will delete all inventory variants for this source and effectively reset the source.
• Delete Source: This will permanently delete the source and all inventory variants from Flxpoint.
